Great staff. Housekeepers are the friendliest I've encountered in a long, long time. We will definitely be back.
Getting into the motel from Wells rd is easy by turning at the traffic signal onto Eldridge ave and right into the Marriott parking lot. There are plenty of sidewalks available in the area if you're a pedestrian.
I made my points reservation via cell phone about a week before traveling. On arriving in Orange Park I had already received an alert that my room was ready and I just needed to go by the front desk and pick up my key.
The rooms are nice and comfortable. The cafe for breakfast is satisfying for quite quick dine. The stay has been enjoyable.
I stayed for two nights recently and enjoyed the stay. The staff (front desk, bartender, restaurant) were all very nice, friendly and helpful.
If you are staying in JAX this is your typical Courtyard by Marriott. The hotel as clean, the staff was professional and helpful with room requests. This hotel was recently renovated the carpets and bathrooms were clean and look new. Only complaint is I had to move rooms, the walls are pretty thin so if you are a light sleeper it is probably best to get a higher room floor away from elevator. They moved me as soon as I requested. Can't speak to the pool or gym because I didn't have time to visit any such amenities.
Generally a nice, clean hotel, but a few issues. Early in the mornings (~4am) it can take more than 5 minutes for the water to heat up to a reasonable temperature. Also, the water has a funny smell to it, this probably is just the way the city water is though, because I noticed it in at least one area restaurant too.
The room and bed were all great with no problems, everything nice and clean.
