One of the most important things to have is a good, honest mechanic. We've been taking our vehicles to this shop for a few years now, and they definitely do good, honest work. They offer free diagnostics, dont ever try to sell you work you dont need, and after dealing with the owner, Dennis, many, many times over the last few years, I definitely get the impression that he always does what he can to be fair with what he charges. A lot of mechanic shops arent run the way College Automotive is, and it makes the whole ordeal of having to deal with getting a vehicle fixed even more stressful. College Automotive mitigates that stress, rather than increase it.
My personal opinion based on my experience is that this place stays busy because of quality and honest service. I've come here several times and have never felt I was being told or sold something I didn't need. They seem very willing to let you know what they think is going on and don't feel the need to charge you an arm and leg to do it. Will visit again for sure.
