It was a pleasant experience even though i am the one paying child support they cleared up discrepancies that i had recieved thru letter and had great advice for me
Give the csr's power to actually DO something like send a letter or make a call. This is be beauocracy at its absolute finest. What a waste of time and money.
The office is great but the 1800 phone line and chat service is the absolute worst. The csr's for chat and phone can only tell you the status of your case and send a message to the local office.
The customer service is horrible. Its a joke. I have been on hold for over 30 mins when my wait tim was less than 15 mins. Needless to say my lunch break was over before they picked up the line. Sorry i work full time to pay my child support so you guys dont arrest me and i cant sit in your office all day....... Also no one gets held to any a accountability when they dont do stuff. This place is a joke just like most government offices.
The local office then has up to 2 weeks to respond to a relayed message from the csr. Plus, if you're dealing with an out of state agency, there's another 2-3 weeks response time which means one action item can take OVER a month to process.
I would probably give 5 stars, but the phone system is lacking either technology or manpower or both. I am disabled and it's not always possible to just run down to the office for a question, which is pretty much what I have to do now. Please do something about the call center. My experience with everyone i have spoken to has been great.
When you need to speak to someone you have to take a day off from your job to do so, not good when you're the main financial support for the child. When you do get through they really have no answers for you.
