The school did not prepare my daughter for the 2nd grade.The school said they work with children with Asperger and they lied. The school doesn't have the tools nor patience to help special needs children.. All the school worried about was the money they was getting. If you want low expectations for your child, then send them to this school. But your child deserve better. Look deep before you put your child in a school like this. Please learn from my experience
This school was the worst school I've every experience and was a nightmare for my child and family. The Principal over medicated my daughter after my daughter told her," my mother gave me my medication". The school never called me to verified the medication. Then the school suspended my daughter three times because my daughter was having a problem with another child and the teacher would not separate the children nor record the incident to disprove that the other child was bothering my daughter. The Principal and owner interfered with my child medical treatment by playing doctor by suspending my daughter three times unless they spoke to my Pediatrician and insisted that my pediatrician increase my daughter's medication. The school suspended my daughter a total of 30 days. After my Pediatrician increased my daughter's medicine, the Principal and owner suspend her again because they felt my daughter's medication should be increased again after receiving the medication for less than four days. The Principal called my Pediatrician so many times that the Doctor refused to answer any calls from the school. I removed my daughter from the school and file a complaint with the State of Florida. Severn Bridges has very very low expectations. I kept questioning the curriculum and all my daughter received was connect the dots work and kindergarten work.
