Kat is awesome!! She did an amazing job on my hair! Just love her!
How can an owner ask me how she can correct it? They should already have a business plan in place for when employees act inappropriately, I am a customer I should not have to answer that question, which made me feel even more uncomfortable.
If you are young and hip and into employees cussing and unprofessionalism this is the place for you!
If you have children I would not recommend this place! Not family friendly!
I have added pictures of how I wheeled out of there with dripping wet hair, shaking and crying, I added pictures of when I got home and blow-dried my hair, the end result of a two process color that should have some caramel in it.... Had my stylist been able to finish perhaps she could have corrected this, now I'm going to have to go pay somebody else another $125+ to fix this!
The atmosphere was amazing! As soon as you walked in the door everyone was friendly and welcoming. Jessie did wonders for this ladies hair thank you for a fun and wonderful time. Thank you again!
But this really upset me and the way it was handled with the owner was absolutely no better because these two young ladies are going to have a stern talking-to, even though this behavior goes on behind the scenes all the time I was told. This was not behind the scenes and if it went on this one time, I doubt it stays behind the scenes all the time. A stern talking-to I, don't think is going to correct anything, they will most likely go home have a glass of wine and laugh it off and come back to work the next day and I would not feel comfortable going back in after what happened and how I was treated. I can imagine the talking behind my back then if they talk about the employees in front of brand new customers.

My first time here, when my hairdresser had me sitting in the hair basin two other hairdressers came up with their clients and they were talking back and forth to each other about having somebody else helping to blow dry somebody out and said she would never help because she was such a b****. I was so shocked over what I just heard I turned around and asked if she was talking about an employee, with a simple response of yeah she's my BFF. My reply was simply I didn't know that. And then they stood there giving me dirty looks, no apology and I became very uncomfortable, when my stylist returned I asked her to please return me back to her chair to finish and she asked if I was uncomfortable in the chair and I told her no I was uncomfortable with the people beside me and she asked me what happened and I told her and that was when one of them beside me apologized about 10 minutes too late, I was crying by this point and just wanted to get out of there as there were 3 stylist talking to me at the same time trying to explain inappropriate behavior that wasn't explainable. It was all a little overwhelming with disappointing end results. However, Angela my stylist was the sweetest person and I had a connection with her and most certainly would have continued going back to her, and most certainly would be going back to her to have her fix this, and making her my permanent stylist, but the atmosphere is not right for a lady.
If your a respectable lady looking for professionalism this is not the atmosphere for you.
Robyn is an amazing colorist and ever since finding her and Salon Nouveau back in 2008 I haven't gone anywhere else in Jax for a cut or color.
